Peel and finely slice 500 gms of onion and 250 gms of garlic and put them in a covered dish in 500 ml sunflower oil. Cook slowly for 15 to 30 minutes. Strain well and add 200 ml honey. Bottle and cork. Shake well before use. For children of 2 to 4 years of age give 1 teaspoon thrice daily. Increase the dose according to age. |

Add a teaspoon of fresh radish juice (Muli) with an equal quantity of honey with a tinge of rock salt. Give it thrice daily. |

Whole grains, cereals and its products, fresh fruits, and vegetables. |

Ginger is a potent expectorant that works well in tea. Steep 1/2 teaspoon ginger, a pinch of ground cloves, and a pinch of cinnamon in 1 cup boiling water. |

Honey: To relieve the cough that comes from bronchitis, slice an onion into a bowl, then cover with honey. Allow to stand overnight, then remove the onion. Take 1 teaspoon of this honey four times a day. |

Lemons: These help in getting rid from bacteria and mucus of the respiratory system. Make a cup of lemon tea by grating 1 teaspoon lemon rind and adding it to 1 cup of boiling water. Steep for five minutes. |

Onions: These are expectorants and help in the flow of mucus. |

Omega-3 fatty acid: salmon, flaxseed, halibut and mackerel that help reduce inflammation in the lungs. |

Best done sitting, but can also be done standing or lying down.
Sit on the front edge of a firm but comfortable chair.
Keep your back straight and your hands on your thighs or knees.
Look straight ahead.
Relax your shoulders. |

Exhale forcefully through your mouth to empty your lungs.
At the same time contract (tighten) your abdominal muscles and bend forward.
This helps to expel the air. |

Try and do 10 rounds to begin. Build up to 3 sets of 10 rounds, 2-3 times a day. In
between each round and at the end of the final round take a couple of slow, deep
breathes to balance your breathing. |
